The rumour mill at the Donington Park round of the World Superbike Championship is starting to bring in news that Noriyuki Haga will make a return to the paddock next time out at Imola on the Grillini BMW

Haga was left without a ride for the 2013 season after a dismal attempt to take on the British Superbike Championship in 2012 with Shaun Muir’s Swan Yamaha squad. Rumours initially linked Haga with a return at the Aragon round with Effenbert Ducati (good job he didn’t, as they’ve just pulled out of racing again) however reports stated the Japanese rider wanted a rather large wage.
The multiple World Superbike race winner will also race the Suzuka 8 Hour as part of team Kagayama alongside Yukio Kagayama himself and Kevin Schwantz. Reports about the veteran racer’s WSB return are unconfirmed, some rumours suggesting it could be a one off ride whilst other murmurs are suggesting if Haga is happy with the team and bike, he could stay for the season.
