WSS: Kenan Sofuoglu claims pole position in Aragon.

Sofuoglu continues domination in WSS

Reigning World Supersport champion Kenan Sofuoglu narrowly pipped Sam Lowes to pole position in Aragon ahead of the second race of the season. 

Kenan, who won the opening race of the season at Philip Island had been swapping places with Lowes all session, both riders pushing each other to the limit under scorching skies. Eventually, the Turk beat Sam to pole by just 0.160, setting a time of 2.01.450. 
Frenchman Fabien Foret impressed by rounded out the front row, and was 0.766 seconds behind the first two men. PTR Honda’s Sheridan Morais heads the second row of the grid, ahead of British rider Kev Coglan in 5th and Pata Honda’s rookie Michael Vd Mark. 
Luca Scassa took 7th position, in front of Lorenzo Zanetti and Riccardo Russo. Former 250cc rider Raffaele De Rosa finished in tenth position, 1.153 seconds off Sofuoglu’s time.
