|Dan Linfoot has gone hospital for further checks|
It has been reported that James Westmoreland is OK following the incident with Dan Linfoot on the last lap of Race 1 at the British Superbikes season opener at Brands Hatch. Linfoot on the otherhand, has not been so lucky. The Yorkshireman taken to the medical centre and subsequently hospital in London for further tests.
The incident happened coming into Graham Hill bend involving Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki rider Keith Farmer, GBmoto Honda’s Dan Linfoot and Buildbase BMW rider James Westmoreland, also causing Quattro Kawasaki’s Chris Walker to run onto the grass.
The incident caused the red flagged for safety reasons as medics attended to Linfoot.
Westmoreland has been deemed fit to race therefore will be able to go out this afternoon in Race 2.
