|Preziosi (right) is ‘the founding father’ of the Desmosedici
Filippo Preziosi has stepped down from his position at Ducati Motor Holding, citing poor health. The former head of Ducati Corse’s decision was revealed via a press release from the company. They have thanked him for his 19 years of service and expressed their sadness at losing such a valued member of staff.
Preziosi has spent the past 19 years with the manufacturer, previously as the General Manager of Ducati Corse, which included a well documented relationship with Valentino Rossi. The 45 year old changed roles at the end of 2012, appointed as the Director of Research and Development of Ducati Motor Holding. He was expected to take up this role after a period of rest, prior to his resignation.
