PBM CRT in British Racing Green for 2013

Herndanez’ ART in British Racing Green

Paul Bird has revealed that his CRT bikes (or at least Yonny Hernandez’) will be painted in British Racing Green for the 2013 season. This came after Yonny Hernandez revealed pictures of his ART machine on Instagram & Twitter from Malaysia, prior to the Sepang test – the machines painted in British racing green & white.

When someone asked on Twitter whether the machines would be staying that colour, Birdy replied “Yup, British racing green & white! Bike paint’s on it right this minute”. He later revealed that despite having chosen the colours, he hasn’t chosen the exact design yet and has a few to choose from.

Herndanez will roll out on the PBM ART machine tomorrow in Sepang, having not been able to participate in the CRT ECU test due to the ART machines using Aprilia electronics. Michael Laverty, whose PBM-built machine will use the control Magnetti Marelli ECU could not participate in the test either due to the machine not being ready, he will ride Herndanez’ spare bike this week in Sepang. The logic behind Laverty doing this will enable him to get used to the control MotoGP Bridgestone tyres having never ridden on them before. We will have to wait and see whether Laverty’s bikes will be in the same colour!

Check PaddockChatter.com tomorrow for news from the first day of testing for the entire MotoGP field.
