British Superbike organisers MSVR and Motorpoint, one of the largest car supermarkets in the UK have announced an extension to the contract which saw them as the title sponsor of the British Supersport series in 2012 to be the full associate sponsor of the series for 2013.
The 12 round, 24 race 2013 British Supersport championship is set to be an exciting affair as champion Glen Richards (Smiths Triumph) returns to defend his title however is met with some tough competition in names like former champions Easton (Mar Train Yamaha) and Seeley (Gearlink Kawasaki) and front runners such as Wilson (Gearlink Kawasaki), McConnell (Smiths Triumph), Irwin (Mar Train Yamaha), Smart, Cooper, (Oxford TAG Triumph) Gowland (Seton Yamaha) and O’Halloran (Samsung Honda).
The British Supersport Championship starts alongside the British Sueprbike Championship at Brands Hatch 5-7 April, with testing throughout March (dates can be seen here) and will be televised live on British Eurosport and repeats with additional coverage on ITV.
