After multiple podiums and a win in the Supersport Cup in previous years, Tinmouth made a high-profile move to the top class in 2011 with Splitlath Aprilia. However, after an unsuccessful first few rounds, both parties decided to part company; with Tinmouth receding to the Supersport championship for the remainder of the year.
She made her comeback to Superbikes in 2012, with debuting team TWR Honda, though the cheshire lady struggled to make it into the points throughout the season, scoring a top result of 19th at Snetterton. After running a stock standard bike for most of 2012, both team and rider will be hoping to build on what they learned, and will be aiming for the points in 2013.
Tinmouth will of course be returning as usual to the Isle of Man, no doubt hoping to exceed her previous lap of 119.945mph around the mountain course.
